‘Buildings’are one-of-one unique clay objects that represent my fascination and love for urban scenery, inspired by the cities of Berlin & Caïro and the grunge characteristics of their apartment buildings.
The Buildings are hand made by assembling hand-rolled stoneware clay slabs, precisely cutting out the windows before takingthem into two firing stages of950°C and 1220°C. All Buildings are glazed by hand using a spray gun, making each individual Building unique and non-reproducible.
