Building 'Big City Life' | nr. 9

‘Buildings’ are one-of-one unique clay objects that represent my fascination and love for urban scenery, inspired by the cities of Berlin & Caïro and the grunge characteristics of their apartment buildings.

The Buildings are hand made by assembling hand-rolled stoneware clay slabs, precisely cutting out the windows before taking them into two firing stages of 950°C and 1220°C. All Buildings are glazed by hand using a spray gun, making each individual Building unique and non-reproducible.
