‘Buildings’ are one-of-one unique clay objects that represent my fascination and love for urban scenery, inspired by the city of Berlin and the grunge characteristics of its apartment buildings.
The Buildings are handmade by assembling hand-rolled stone-ware clay slabs, precisely cutting out the windows before taking them into two firing stages of 950°C and 1220°C.
A Building is an object that adds an ambient touch to your space. Some Buildings fit a tea light candle, and most of them fit an incense cone*. Building nr. 15 fits a tea light candle and an incense cone.
*Caution: when using an incense cone or tea light candle, be aware that the surface beneath, as well as the Building itself, can get very hot.
